There is a specific kind of control that makes good judgment feel like a dare. It is usually red, clearly labeled, and sitting there with the confidence of something that knows you are going to touch it.

“Don’t” should end the discussion. Instead, it starts one. What happens if I do? Is the warning real? Why did someone make the switch look so satisfying?
The interface has already won. The action is simple, the consequence is vague, and curiosity has both hands on the wheel.
